Cork in the bottle

Effect:

-Performer takes a cork out from into the bottle without breaking it.

Materials:

- a bottle

- cork

- knife

- silk handkerchief or similar

Presentation and Secret:

You challenge the audience to take out the cork without breaking it.

They won´t be able. The secret is putting into the bottle half of a handkerchief

and pull softly until the cork gets stuck in the bottle´s neck.

 

Then, it only takes a harder pull so the cork can get out.

 

Important: Use a thin silk handkerchief, and cut around the cork a little (with cutter or knife) so you will be able to put it into the bottle.
